Scholarship for Noah's Japan Study Abroad

$3,890 of $6,000 goal

Noah is our second son.  He is a bright, kind and hard-working teenager.  Noah has experienced chronic migraines (15+/month) since he was eight years old.  For the last nine years, Noah has struggled with maintaining a “regular” teenage life, battling migraines while trying to attend school, maintain friendships and participate in family life.

The good news is that Noah’s migraines have lessened significantly in the last year, giving him some hope and excitement for a more active lifestyle and better immediate health.

This has encouraged Noah to seek out an experience that will allow him to be more independent and more active.  Researching study abroad programs, Noah applied and was accepted into the Rotary program to study abroad in Japan.  Rotary has one of the least expensive study abroad programs.

Noah is fascinated by the Japanese culture and has been preparing for the program by taking Japanese languages classes for the last year.

As Noah’s parents, we’d like to be able to see him participate in something he is passionate about and participating in life again.

Noah comes from a family battling several serious health issues, which have put an enormous financial strain on his family.  As Noah’s parents, we are asking friends, family and others to support Noah in his desire to study abroad in Japan this next year.  Thank you for your support.
