Hello All, This is Kenny Langdon. When you think of our community of Junction City it is hard not to think of Kenny. Kenny was one of the hardest workers in our town and could be seen rain or shine, hot or cold keeping our city clean, smiling every step of the way. Kenny could brighten the darkest days with his warm hugs and his cheerful smile. He loved to help ladies cross the streets and never let a lady open a door if he was any where close. He enjoyed life to the fullest and epitomized what a human being should be. Sunday afternoon Kenny was choking and passed out on the sidewalk. A passerby found him and he was taken to Stormont Vail in Topeka where he has been on life support. This afternoon his family made the heart breaking decision to remove him from life support as Kenny is showing no signs of improving and he has started having frequent seizures. It is time our community steps up and helps Kenny as much as he has helped us. Junction City will not be the same without his shiney personality but my hopes are that we can raise enough funds to help with a memorial and still have funds left to plant a tree in his honor in the city park where he spent so much time. I hope everyoone will find it in their hearts to help. I have known Kenny for 22 years and I am already dreading the void that can never be filled.
