My best friend's mom was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2017 in my country. She played an important part in my life growing up..

As you all know the situation in my country has been very difficult for many years now.  Food and medication are beyond scarce. Not only price for medication is unrealistic, but you can’t find medication anymore. People have to reach out to contacts in neighboring countries or far as needed to get even the most basic medications.

I'm putting this fund together since in my country is prohibited to use any funding help organization. I live in USA and will be the one making it possible for the family to get the funds.

My friend’s mom has had 3 surgeries and 25 sessions of chemotherapy so far. For her to finish her treatments she requires 5 more cycles of treatment and the family has unfortunately run out of means to purchase any more medications.

There has been some “angels” who have donated some of the medications required, but unfortunately she needs more to finish her treatment.

The family have found a way to get the remainder medication from a neighboring country, but in order for the family to purchase the medication needed, they need to collect $7,200 for the remaining treatments.

It is imperative that my friend’s mom go through the next 5 cycles of treatment within the next 5 months so she can recover her quality of life.
