Saying Goodbye to Jessica

As many of you know, Jessica St Louis passed away last Saturday. We are shocked and saddened by this turn of events but we also want to say goodbye to her in a way that celebrates the generous and loving person she was. She started out as my student but became my foster daughter for a time and then turned into a beloved chosen family member, someone who I thought I would be in my life forever. Jessica had that effect on people-- they wanted to be connected to her and know her. This fundraiser will enable her friends and family to put on services and take care of necessary funeral arrangements in order to pay tribute to her life and acknowledge the impact she had on all of our lives. Our goal is to honor her with services on Monday, August 6th, so this fundraiser is fairly time-sensitive. Please contribute whatever you can-- no amount is too small. Any excess funds will be divided between support for her son and a donation to VOICES, an organization that supports transition-age foster youth, from which Jessica received services in years past.
