33535092_153884945162576_r.jpegJUST RESCUED TODAY! URGENT CARE NEEDED!
This pitiful girl wandered up into a man’s yard. We have no backstory or history on this poor soul. We just know that she is in BAD shape. This is an emergency fundraiser. This is a joint rescue effort so she has a LOT of people behind her. Once rescued, she was immediately taken to EC Vets in Wilson where she still is. We hope it’s not too late for this girl but we WILL do what we have to in order to save her. After all, this is Pitbull Awareness Month...take awareness and speak out so THIS does not happen again! Share this fundraiser with anyone and everyone!

FINAL UPDATE:

WRAL just let my foster home! They wanted to get an update on their favorite rescue dog!

I am one lucky dog. I am surrounded by people who love me and want nothing but the best for me. To all of you that helped pay for me to get better, I owe you a belly rub! Now it’s time for me to find my forever family so this will be my last update. The Maggie Society will keep my story going on their Facebook and Instagram pages! I hope all of you have a PAWSOME holiday season! And remember...adopt don’t shop and PLEASE stay and neuter!

UPDATE #11

Hi friends! I know, I am slacking off! But it’s for a good reason, I promise! I have been a LOT more active lately. This past weekend was the best I have had in my life (besides when I was rescued)! My foster mom and I surprised my Maggie Society family at the Whirligig Festival! I was rubbed and loved on NONSTOP the entire time. I met other dogs that have been rescued and we became friends. My foster mom told me that I might be able to stop antibiotics soon! Every day keeps getting better and better thanks to all of you!

These pictures are from my awesome weekend!

UPDATE #10

Hey friends! It's Anna Christi and I am so sorry for not posting sooner. I had surgery Monday so I can now say I have helped control the pet population! I am recovering well and my foster mom got me a new toy. After surgery, I was surprised with a new bed that was made by a nice lady in Rocky Mount. A big, cushy and comfy thank you to Ms. Dianne Poland for this bed. My recovery has been very relaxing thanks to you! As you can see in the first picture, I was NOT in the mood for pictures. I was very loopy. For Halloween, foster mom said my costume was a flower...I was not impressed. (Flower because of the cone...get it? I didn't at first!) As you can see in the pictures, my skin is starting to look normal again. I still have some recovering to do but boy do I feel better! Thank you to all of you that are supporting me and supporting the Maggie Society! So many dogs have come into this rescue after me so they need a lot of help! I will check back in soon!

UPDATE #9

Anna Christi here! (I have taken over this update thing!)

During potty breaks, I have recently noticed how chilly it has become outside. I am realizing just how lucky I am to have been rescued. My mom works a lot so when I want her undivided attention, I bark at her...and I do not stop until I get my way. How can she resist my sweet face in this cone? Speaking of the cone, it’s not very flattering but mom said I have to keep it on when resting for now. My skin is healing more and more everyday but it ITCHES like the dickens and I cannot be allowed to scratch it. But no fear friends, I am having a great time with my mom and fursiblings, especially Blue. Thank you for supporting a dog like me. I guess someone thought I was trash. These rescue folks seem to think otherwise...and I’m beginning to think they are right! TGIF!!!!!
