Help me get back on my feet!

Hi my name is Jim Medcraft, I'm a vj who was done visuals for events such as Stereosonic, Future Music and Field Day, as well as toured with acts such as Hayden James, The Aston Shuffle and Alison Wonderland.    As you may know, I was the pedestrian in a "pedestrian vs car" incident at the start of the year while on tour in Austin Texas. Unfortunately, the car was the victor in that match up and I have spent most of this year in and out of four different hospitals.  Because the driver didn't stop and was never found, I have been unable to claim any form of compensation.   My Injuries inculcated collapsed lungs, a broken spine, fractured collarbone, a lacerated liver, a subdural hematoma, minor brain damage, and both fibula tibias crushed What you may not know is that while I was going through multiple surgeries and off with the morphine fairies, someone stole my pelican case containing my laptop and vjing gear. Having not worked since February I don't really have the resources to replace the laptop. I have being using an older macbook pro with a broken screen, that I had technically written off. That machine will no longer boot. People have being suggesting for months that I start a gofundme campaign for an electric wheelchair and now working laptop. I decided it was time to swallow my pride. Having stood on my feet for 1st time since February yesterday, the prospect of being able to get back to work again is finally feeling quite real... but not having the tools is going to be a real hurdle. If I get more then enough for new lappy I will put money towards mobility scooter. Hopefully I won't be wheelchair based for too long but I wont be able to travel longer distances for a fair while ... so I have no chance of hatching 'Pokemon Go' eggs. Please help me get back on my feet I wheely wheely need it -Jim Update-I have brought new computer and mobility scooter, I now need to focus on raising some money so I can find better long term accommodation. I still have further surgery and I am living in my mother lounge room.  It is taking longer then I was hoping to recover and I am quite worried about what I am going to be able to do for work full-time bellow is a video I made about my situation and some press coverage I have had: https://www.facebook.com/DontDISmyABILITY/videos/10154124597860737/   http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/how-disability-has-not-held-back-video-jockey-jim-medcraft-20161120-gstai5.html Update October 2nd 2018: Main thing is that I got married!!!! Also I have started studying a masters of digital information management at UTS, but I'm only managing one unit a semester with pain factors. I just booked in next surgery today, which will be skin grafts for my legs, Because the doctors want my skin better before they go in to left leg again. We have started a round of ivf and I have not gotten support centrelink since April while they access my DSP claim. The money I have raised here has turned out to be more of a lifeline then I expected, so I really can not thank everyone enough!! In terms of media me and Lauren were recently on tripple J's "Hack" and have an upcoming interview on channel 10's "The Project" http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/programs/hack/when-love-and-trauma-mix/10238572
