Help save the dogs of El Salvador

El Salvador is a country that suffers from extreme poverty, a large part of our population don't even have the basic necessities to live: food, water, home, and electricity. We have a very large population of stray dogs that is directly related to the inability of its owner's lack of resources to care for them. There is a huge abuse to animals due to the lack of education. Since the dogs live on the streets they tend to keep on reproducing without a stable home, therefore the stray dog population keeps on growing. There is no food or water for these animals, and they tend to get extremely sick. The dogs usually live around the poor communities of the country, and due to the lack of education from the people living among them; they start being abused because the people fin them gross and disgusting due to their appearances and illnesses. People kick, hit, and run over dogs on purpose just to get rid of them. They feed dogs food with broken glass in them to kill them, or give the little pieces of food with nails and sharp objects in them. Also there is a large part of the population, usually young adults from poor communities where it has become popular to torture dogs and other animals for fun. They engage in behaviors such as stabbing them, cutting of parts of the dogs, hitting them brutally, among others. We are desperate to help the dogs, we have several animal shelters where we rescue really sick and injured dogs and help them get better and find them a home. We have no resources and we don’t have enough money, we use every penny we have to save and rescue as many dogs as we can, but the lack of resources starts affecting us in not being able to rescue more dogs because we don’t have enough money to pay for their treatments and medicines; and also we are running out of space in the shelters. Animal abuse is a serious issue in El Salvador and we are trying to do everything we can to help them, animals are innocent creatures and they don’t deserve any of this torture. Please help us get enough funds so we can be able to help more dogs and save there lives. By donating, you could help so many dogs to be free from torture, to be happy, and most importantly to be safe and loved. So please help us, the dogs and we will be eternally grateful if we can make this happen. This is our last resource to try to get help to save them and we really needed your help.
