Hello Friends!
My name is Pepito Duber Mercado. I am a Rottweiler cross Labrador. I am 4 years old. My family rescued me from a puppy mill. When I was first brought home, I was 8 weeks old. I showed them my loving, cuddly and angelic (wink wink) personality and from there they have fallen deeply in love with me and I have fallen deeply in love with them. I am a very active and happy dog. I spend my days protecting my house and my family. I love all my toys and yummy treats. I love to go to dog parks and family adventures. However, my favourite place is my sisters' beds. Also, one thing that I love the most is my FAMILY!
Yesterday (09/12/2016), my sister and my dad took me out to the car. I hopped on happily thinking I was going to the dog park! However, we went to the veterinarian instead. I was hospitalized because I was very weak and haven't eaten for 4 days. The doctor said I needed to stay overnight in the hospital to get some IV and be monitored by the doctor. I was crying and felt very scared. I was left in the hospital wondering when my family would come back. On Sept 13th, I was officially diagnosed with lymphomia cancer. My lymph nodes have swollen up so large that they formed a really big tumour in my belly. My cancer is spreading to other parts of my body causing me a lot of stress. But nothing makes me more stressed than knowing that my family is worried about me.
I would like to live as long as I can and have more time with my loving family! I know that I don't have a long time left but with my chemotheraphy it could buy me some time! So I am asking all my friends to help and support us in any way that you can! Please send us your prayers and support.
