I am scheduled to see the specialist on Wednesday, June 1st. They will take more x-rays and do an exam. If Dr Vita feels that I am big and healthy enough, my surgery will be tomorrow. If not it will be rescheduled.
My surgery should be ASAP, since I am young making my bones soft and compliant. …
Sometimes I see my mommy cry, I know that she is really scared of loosing me. She is scared of my surgery expenses having a financial impact on the household. This surgery has its risks as any surgery working around vital organs would.
I have a structural birth defect that is called Pectus Excavatum. This is a condition where my sternum (breast bone) has curled inwards; putting pressure on my heart and lungs. I need to have a surgery done by a specialist to correct this or eventually it will kill me. Not allowing me heart and lungs to grow properly.
My human mom has started this Go Fund Me Campaign to help with the expenses involved with my surgery and aftercare. We have about $300 out of pocket expenses so far; three doctors appointments and X-rays done of Ted E's chest. Ted E's surgery can cost as much as $3,040 and the aftercare visits will be up around $600.
We NEED $960 More to Make This Happen!!!!
My mommy is not working now but she promised that I will get my needed surgery. She is trying to avoid taking away from the household. She has made arrangements to burrow the balance. Keeping my campaign going until my medical expenses are all paid off.Sometimes when I play I get tired faster than the other kittens and need to take a nap. My surgery will allow me to get more oxygen so that I can grow up to big and strong.
If my campaign brings more than my expenses, the balance will all go towards helping homeless kitties to be happy.
