Help me save vinspired.com
vInspired.com is a digital hub bursting with opportunities for young people to change their lives and the lives of others.
Much more than just a volunteering service, vInspired helps 14 -25 year-olds build the skills they need to progress in a career they want. At the same time, vInspired provides the means to transform local communities and provide a helping hand to charities in need.
Since 2009, vInspired.com has helped 1.4 million young people to support over 7,000 charities, logging 4.7 million hours of volunteering. Volunteers can record their hours and achievements to claim 'vAwards' certificates which can help them with university and college applications or to boost their CVs.
Last November, due to funding cuts, this great work stopped.
We have an opportunity to keep it going, but I need your help.
I was Digital Director at vInspired until the charity closed, and I know it’s true potential to make a difference to young people and their communities.
It’ll take just £30,000 to revive vInspired.com and start making positive change in people’s lives again; from young people trying to build skills and confidence to understaffed charities, not forgetting the dedicated and talented team at vInspired who lost their jobs last year.
With youth services under pressure and charities and communities relying on the talent, energy and passion of volunteers - we need vInspired.com now, more than ever.
Please help me in saving this essential service and bringing it back as a low cost, high quality digital service to the whole voluntary sector, ensuring young people can find opportunities to build skills and confidence and that communities can benefit from young people's energy, talent and commitment.
We have just a few weeks before the platform goes offline, so time is of the essence. Please show your support now so we can keep making a difference for young people.
