Helping Tim's Family

This fundraiser has now become a memorial fund.

Tim passed away this morning, August 27, 2017. He fought a hard fight and defied doctors along the way, but eventually, his body just gave out. We will remember Tim as an hilariously obnoxious, funny guy who had a big heart and cared for others. He had his issues, as we all do, but ultimately, he was a good guy. He was intelligent and sweet natured, with a big personality.

No parent should have to say goodbye to their child. No child should have to lose their father at such a young age. And no wife should have to lose her husband at such a young age, sitting alone by his side with a one-year-old at home. Tim leaves behind a wife, 4 children, his mother, and brother.  He will be greatly missed, our only solace being that he is now out of pain and at peace.

Anything you can do to support his family, would be greatly appreciated.

The Original Story

Tim, 42 year-old husband and father of four, is fighting for his life, following a devastating accident and multiple strokes, his children unable to enter the ICU. His wife has been by his side every day since Saturday, August 12, 2017, waiting patiently for some sign of life. She embraces each small squeeze of her hand, flicker of an eyelid, and every sign of discomfort with his intubation tube—only tiny glimpses of hope. It is unknown at this time whether Tim will wake up, but he seems to try from time to time, however, it does appear that he may have some brain damage (to what extent, is currently unclear). As Tim lies in a coma, his body swollen from fluid retention as his kidneys struggle to function, receiving regular dialysis, with most of his extended family unable to be at the hospital, all his wife can do is wait and cry and pray.

We are looking to raise funds to help Tim’s family with 1) medical expenses and continued therapies that may be needed, 2) fuel, as the family has no access to funds and his wife is struggling to travel to and from the hospital, and 3) general living expenses as Tim fights for his life and hopefully, future recovery. All money goes to the family.  Please contribute today.  No donation is too small.

All-Desert Wellness Centers (ADWC) is maintaining this campaign for Tim's family. Due to our policies of confidentiality and to protect the family’s privacy, we are not providing Tim’s last name or the names of his family members. We hope you forgive us and don’t negatively judge the family for this.

If you'd like to donate, but would rather not use a credit card, checks can be made out directly to All-Desert Wellness Centers, 73-726 Alessandro Dr., Ste. 201, Palm Desert, CA 92260 and write H.E.L.P. Fund on your check. Again, all money will be given to Tim’s wife.

Please help spread the word!

All-Desert Wellness Centers’ (ADWC) H.E.L.P. Fund

ADWC is a 501(c)3, 100% volunteer, non-profit organization put in place to empower individuals, children, adolescents, and families in the Coachella Valley and outlying desert areas to build and maintain healthy lives that enable them to cultivate better relationships; pursue meaningful work/education and leisure activities; and foster a more satisfying sense of community that will contribute to well-being and healthy lifestyles now and throughout their lives. Our H.E.L.P. Fund which stands for “Helping Embrace with Loving Passion,” is a way for us to provide families with support for specific needs that may not lie within the typical purview of our services at ADWC. This helps us to support families that do not have the means to help themselves, but gives them the encouragement, motivation, and a leg-up that they desperately need to begin to empower them to help themselves.
