I’m Joe Cannon. For many years, my free website, Supplement-Geek.com has been helping people save money and better understand the dietary supplements they take. I write fact-based reviews of dietary supplements. My motto is “Supplement Reviews Without The Hype.”
Years after I created my site, someone else made another “supplement geek" website
This other site sells dietary supplements - very different than what I do.
Recently, I posted a blog to inform people that I had no association with this other geek site. This angered the owner of the other site, who then stated I was in violation of his trademark.
Unfortunately, I never trademarked Supplement Geek, thinking that I didn’t need to since I was the original user of the name.
To make a long story short, the owner of the other geek site has effectively bulled my internet service provider into removing my website from the internet. My site may still be down by the time you read this.
To make matters worse, he’s threatening to sue me if I do not GIVE HIM Supplement-Geek.com.
I contend that:
He has usurped my name.
He has confused my readers.
And now he wants to erase me from the web.
I CANNOT allow this.
Handing over Supplement-Geek.com would confuse millions of people who go to my website each year to find honest, fact-based reviews.
I have already spent thousands of dollars of my own money to fight this person. My attorny tells me it may cost tens of thousdands continue the fight.
So, I need your help.
Anyone who has ever contacted me knows I freely give away my time and knowledge to help others. I never ask for anything in return. All the content on Supplement-Geek.com is also 100% free.
If this person is successful, all the work I put into building Supplement-Geek.com into a valuable, high ranking website will effectively be erased and I’ll have to start over.
Helping people understand supplements is my passion in life.
It’s my calling.
It’s the reason I’ve been put on this earth.
I don’t like asking anyone for help, but this issue is so important that I’m hoping you will stand with me and donate to my cause.
