MY NAME IS ELLIE
Can you help me please! My name is Ellie, I am 12 weeks old, scared, weak and really sick.
Someone who didn’t want me dropped me in Conowingo to care for myself in this cold weather.
I didn’t know what to do so I started running for my life. This is when I got the big gash in my rear leg. My wound was so bad they didn’t know if I would survive. The vet seems to think I got wrapped up in some type of wire and while fighting to get out I got hurt. My leg had necrotic tissue which had to be removed. My vet had to do a long surgery and he put in over 30 stitches.
To continue to help me survive I am receiving daily meds along with daily fluids to give me enough strength so I can eat on my own. My foster has to feed me every two hours and stays up half the night trying to get me to eat so I can have strength to make it through the next day.
Can you help me get well I want to have a chance to get my own “forever home”? The Chesapeake Feline Association and their thoughtful volunteers are doing everything they can to make me better, but I need your help.
We need money to cover the cost of my surgery, vet bills and my continuing IV fluids and medication that I must take daily. I am taking 4 different medicines and I am really trying hard to survive. My estimated cost for recovery is $2,000. PLEASE HELP ME!
