on behalf of Bryan Wolfe
For the past 40 years Winston Salem Christian School (WSCS) has been a remarkable, affordable private school for Christian families in Winston-Salem. Our school is a diverse culture that does life and education together. Our goal is to raise funds in order to continue to provide this outstanding faith-based education to local families, with the goal of reflecting the rich diversity of our city. . In the past, WSCS had been promised updated property and updated technology with the hopes to draw in more students. In years past, most of the tuition was used in order to rent the current building from Winston-Salem First, as a result remaining funds went to teacher and other staff salaries; leaving little money for much needed renovations, upgrades, or a new property.

With the help of your donations, Winston Salem Christian School is attempting to meet the goal of $500,000 in order to remain operational for the 2019-2020 school year. Any contribution large or small is one step closer to keeping WSCS open to continue the Lord's work, by ministering and educating in our city.

However, our need is extremely urgent and in order to keep enrollment for the next year, we need the funds as soon as possible. Thank you, and Lord willing we will see you for the 2019-2020 school year. Please continue to share our story and read about our story at WSChristian.com or on social media @WSCSLions

We have had new goals set on us by Wake Forest and WSFirst for our continued survival. We need 250 students and $400,000 in the bank by April 1st. We are so grateful for your donations so far and need your help. Please help in three ways:
1. Pray for WSCS. Pray for us to have the right students come and enroll, and for people to be motivated to donate.
2. Share our story far and wide so that we can raise the funds needed.
3. Consider donating a second time. We are going to need a wide range of community support to make this happen and we need the help of those who love and care for us. If everyone of you donated $100 we would have over $10,000 more towards our fundraising goal.

Thank you!

We have begun fundraising in many other ways this week. In addition to the money in our 501c3, we are extremely close to meeting our goal of earning another $25,000 with a matching grant. Please consider helping us reach this next milestone with a small gift.

Another fundraising effort that has garnered a lot of excitement with our students are the #savewscs t-shirts. These shirts are our thank you gift to you for every cash donation. They are available in the lobby in the morning and afternoon. We will also be selling them at the Homecoming Game on Thursday 1/31, they are perfect for not only supporting our school, but participating in the blackout theme! Get yours today!
