Save Our Local Community Theatre

Vive Les Arts Theatre, the beloved community theatre of Killeen, will be shutting down on August 31. Established in 1976, this nonprofit community theatre has been dedicated to the fine arts of our community, and has been entertaining everyone for the last 41 years.  In addition, its children's theatre has impacted the lives of adults and young people, both civilian and military.

These funds will help to make capital improvements to the building, purchase updated equpment, and help get the restricted funds out of arrears. The plan focuses not only on upgrading the building and equipment, but also on putting in place new leadership:  a new board of directors, a new artistic director and staff, and a rebranding of the name.

This theatre has been a source of passion and entertainment for members of both our civilian and military communities.  It has offered both adults and children a place to develop their artistic talents. 

It does not deserve to be closed without a fight.
