Save my Seeing Eye Dog Darla

Donation protected
I’m a blind person, and my 7 year-old Guide Dog Darla, black Labrador, became sick on January 1, 2017. First, we noticed that she had some minor problem with the right back leg, but a few hours later she couldn’t move her back legs and bend her head. We rushed her to Bayshore Veterinary Clinic

2043 NE 170 St, phone [phone redacted]. The doctor ran several blood and urine tests and took X-rays, and recommended to consult a neurologist. We did and took her to South Veterinary Neurology, phone [phone redacted]. This doctor ran more lab tests and took an MRI. The MRI showed something abnormal in the spine, which may be lymphoma or infection. They gave her some medication and she is improving.

I do not know yet the total amount of Darla’s medical bill, but only the MRI is $3,500. So far I spent $1,500 in Bayshore Veterinary Clinic and $7,000in South Veterinary Neurology, plus additional expenses that I don’t know yet.

Please, help me save my beloved dog’s life. Besides being blind, lately I developed peripheral neuropathy. That’s mean if I lose my Guide Dog, I may not be able to train with another one for the time being.
