Save my family, Motorbike needed!

First things first, I in no way am demanding people put anything into this, it is an honest try at getting some help towards getting a replacment bike.

A little history first if you don't mind. I am a middle aged disabled man living here in good old blighty just trying to survive with some pretty serious disabilities.
For the longest time people told me I wouldnt be able to ride a motorbike because of the problems I have with my legs and hands. I refused to give up and finally was in a place financially where I could afford to get my liscence and pay out for finance for a bike.

Fast forward a few months and I pick up my BRAND NEW Lexmoto 2017 Michigan 125cc.
LeMi was her name, and in 3 weeks I put almost 300 miles on her, she was due her first service within a month which I am told by a lexmoto rep is almost unheard of.

The video link in this page from my youtube is of a roadslip I had about a week before her service was due and was literally just a couple of scratches, but a few people have looked at it and said I was extremely safe in that instance as one of the first things I did was pull in the clutch and sound my horn without using the brakes which would have caused the bike to flip.

All cosmetic scratches afoart from my elbow which i used to save the bike from getting damaged!

Now on to the real reason you clicked this link (hoping you were not trolled!), My plea for help to save my sanity and the sanity of my family!

On the 18th of August I was involved in a low speed crash after going through a set of lights a car was approaching from my right at quite a clip. I looked over to see if he was already across the line and by the time i looked back I had already drifted to the right and hit a central reservation at about 20 miles an hour. The front wheel went up, the back slid out to the left which i corrected but applied the brake to early and the bike flipped over. I ended up still seated with the bike on my right leg pinning me down.

On the plus side the road traffic officer said it was one of the most controlled low speed crashes he has ever seen. The fact that I was still seated on the bike after a complete flip was impressive.

Unfortunatly I was slightly injured but mostly dislocations and one muscle tear, but I was alive!

On to the wednesday after and my insurance company collected LeMi and took her way to be assessed, by friday they were telling me she was an insurance write off (still not 100% clear on why, that is still an ongoing conversation).

On to my current problem, I had fully comp insurance, but being a write off I lose my excess which is £550 of the bikes pre-accident value of £1899.
So the best case scenario is that the insurer will pay out around £1300 so my finance company leaving me still around £1000 of the finance to pay off in installments. Basically with my current fonancial situation it will be 2 YEARS before I can even think about looking at being able to buy even a second hand bike and afford to insure it.

I have been without LeMi for a month at the time of writing this, and it is driving me nuts. I never felt more free than when I was riding her. I suffer from extreme pain problems, anger issues, anxiety, and depression/PTSD. ALL that melted away when I was riding, but its gone and the reality of having to wait 2 years is soul crushing.

So my plea to you, is help me get back on 2 wheels. I am not looking for a brand new epic 125 sports bike. I just want a nice comfortable 125 cruiser/custom that I can strap up my leg into its brace, get my boots, gloves and helmet and go.

I cant really offer more than my everlasting gratitude, shoutouts on my youtube, and maybe some action shots once im riding again, but I refuse to give up and would love anyone who found this to become part of this trip into seeing how much of humanity can pull together when someone needs it.

Hitting the start goal of £500 would at least get me a road legal 125 with MOT that will make me mobile again and help sort my head out.

Share it, tweet it, print it and stick it to your motorbike and see where we go, because this isnt just my journey. If this succeds I will pull you ALL into it, youtube videos, tweeted updates, emails if you want them.

I just want to be out there, with the bikers I know and my brother.

If you managed to read this far down and didnt want to strangel me or shhot me then consider just dropping that sweet sweet couch cushion cash my way.

Thank you to everyone that even reads this, and a massive thanks to those that help me out!
