Save Louise Cook's Rally Sweden
That was a bit rushed so hope Louise is ok with this but i thought i would include a recent update Louise posted to Facebook as it explains a bit better.
"⭐️ I have a little update! ⭐️
Some of you will know that I have recently had the news that two major sponsors have had to delay their plans for being in the WRC. Things were looking good and I was looking forward to competing in the right way with good tyres, testing in the car before the events etc. I have their word they are still going to be involved... The problem is a successful campaign revolves around competing on WRC Rally Sweden in just 4 weeks and the £8,000 of entry fees are now due in the next 24 hours. I have reacted by putting my trophy up for sale in an attempt to still make the first round. I just do not have much to sell and I was hoping it would help towards the rally. I thank everyone for sharing the eBay advert. http://www.ebay.co.uk/…/Only-non-gender-FIA-Wo…/112259710618
I am doing all I can to make it happen, it is a real fight against the clock now!"

(Wrote a longer version but didn't want to make everyone read it so i have added it below lol)
Started this GoFundMe page after I saw Louise's advert and thought how horrible it must be to have to sell something you have worked so hard for. We have all seen the effort and sacrifices Louise has had to make to carry on doing what she loves. After seeing the eBay advert I thought I would donate if someone set up a page to try and help and then after commenting I noticed there were so many that thought the same way I did. Waited a few minutes refreshing the comments waiting for one to show up and it never did just more comments the same as mine. So thought that’s it, never done it before but it can’t be that hard lol. So glad I did though as it has been overwhelming seeing the amazing donations coming in from all over the world, seeing everyone coming together to do what we can to help. Was a fabulous surprise waking up and realising we had hit our goal so quickly. So thanks again to everyone, you are amazing :)

Great news Louise. Best of luck in the rest of championship. I did some rallying and autotesting in the 1970s and it is great to see more women taking part in the sport.
Well, the initial goal reached at least! Great job! I wonder if the recent coverage by the National Press could help push this on to the £25k target to help Louise compete throughout the rest of the season?
Keep your trophy, go to Sweden, go rallying, go and enjoy the experience. Wish you all the very best. My brother did Rally Sweden in the 80s in a Rover SD1 3.5 V8 and still talks about it.
I stand corrected the item is appearing again... I think Ebay may have had a glitch...
No chance save the 8 grand an do the welsh tarmac or the dominoes
