Jeffrey Wright is a great American Warrior that now finds himself in the toughest battle of his life. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Squamos Cell throat cancer. His chances of survival are extremely rare and he has prepared himself for his young life to end soon. Jeffrey has always been a fighter and has faced extreme tests of mental and physical endurance before. Having served in both the United States Marine Corps and the Navy Seals, Jeff has pushed himself to the highest limits and has never given up. This is how he is approaching his battle with cancer. He will not let the bastard that cancer is defeat him. Jeffrey is not accustomed to defeat and after spending several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan he settled down in Maine to raise a family .

Jeff has 3 boys William 9, Larsen 7, and Fin 4. They are the absolute love of his life and he dreams of the day he can be reunited with them. Even if it might be the last time they all see each other, he wants to pass knowing they will be alright. Because of Jeffrey's recent battle with PTSD, and a nasty divorce, he now finds himself destitute. Jeffrey grew up in Northern California and that is where he wants his journey to ultimately end. Knowing him, when the time comes, he will paddle under the Golden Gate on his surfboard and ride one last wave to meet his maker.

This Go Fund Me account is being created by Jeff's family (Tony Clumeck and Greg Wright) to assist Jeffrey with his move to California and his ongoing medical care.  The money raised will allow for Jeff to live in his own place for two months, while he fights this disease. We are also looking to enable Jeff to pursue some immunology treatments which can be quite expensive. He has a hard fight ahead, and is going to be slapped with medical bills that will make it extremely hard to focus on the fight. If Cancer somehow defeats him (considering the stage he is in and how large the tumor is), then we as a family will invite his friends to honor him with a military funeral, spreading his ashes in the Pacific, and leaving a legacy for his 3 boys to see. We are asking you to do whatever you can, even just a little bit helps, in donating to this go-fund-me page. We are blessed to say this man is our brother, our friend, and a true patriot!

We thank-you for your time in reading this, and ask that you would pray for Jeff and our family, and please consider sharing this post.

God Bless.

I want to give everyone an update on our brother Jeff. As of Wednesday last week Jeff underwent his last radiation treatment. As of now the doctors state that he is rid of any cancer cells. I can't imagine what Jeff went through and what an emotional roller coaster it has been for him. He was told two months ago that you have days, weeks, maybe months to live so enjoy it. Jeff, met an incredible doctor who took one look at him and said give me 9 weeks and I got this. Jeff today is living in Novato, and in the next week or so should be enjoying his first real meal as he has been on a liquid diet. I want to thank all of you for your donations, your time you have taken to see him, and also all your prayers. The lord is showing Jeff it was not his time, and Jeff is realizing he is not finished yet. His boys need him in their lives, we need him in our lives.

Good morning friends and family. I wanted to update everyone on Jeff Wrights status. Jeff has been renting a really cool apartment that has beautiful surroundings and he is close to friends and family. He has been on a feeding tube as due to the treatment hasn't been able to eat solid food. The radiation is kicking his ass, however don't forget this man is a warrior. 2 months ago we were told, get to the hospital as your brother may have 48 hours or less to live. Now Jeff has been told by his doctors that the tumor is indeed shrinking in size, and they're saying that over the next several weeks of radiation and chemo they expect it to be completely gone. Now here is a man that was told you're going to die so live your life and everyday as it comes. For you that know my stubborn brother do you actually think he was going out like that? Oh hell no! The Lord is hard at work with Jeff and with him every step of the way. We are truly grateful that he will get through this. He is blessed by all your love and support as he could have not done this without all of you praying and supporting him. God bless you

THE FIRST MRI; Hello everyone, I wanted to give you an update regarding my brother Jeff Wright. Jeff has been living in Novato and diligently going through his treatments . He continues to try and get strong through good nutrition, a good spirit. and taking that occasional NorCal walk. His ability to talk is something that continues to be an issue, so we are trying to work through that. Jeff met with Dr. Poen today and discussed the results of his first MRI. The doctor was pleased with the two week results and can see a deterioration in the cancer mass. Good news for a man that was told he had inoperable stage 4 cancer weeks ago. Thanks again to this incredibly strong village, the support is enabling Jeff to fight this disease in the best way possible.

I wanted to give an update on my brother Jeff Wright. He's been in Marin for the last two plus weeks and started radiation and chemo last week. The chemo is really getting to him and he is now in the hospital to receive a feeding tube. That's the bad news. The good news is that his spirits are high, he has a lot of support, and his doctors thinks he's going to kick this cancers ass. I do really want to thank everyone for their generosity and support. There is no way we could be in this position without all of your help. When Jeff gets out of hospital, he will be living in Novato in a very serene setting to help him heal. I just got back from Maine squaring away his stuff until he can attack life again. More soon
