We are a charity that helps the homeless.  We offer benefit advice as well as securing both temporary and permanent accommodation for our clients.  We also offer showers and emergency food and toiletry parcels to those most in need.

We  spoke out against Universal Credit and in doing so forfeited any chance of a large  Lottery Fund grant.

We have have a large building that we rent privately.  Rooms are used for; advice, therapy, counselling, clothes and food storage and wash rooms for the street homeless.

We ask you to fund us so that we can pay our rent and fuel costs.
We want to continue offering support to the homeless, those in danger of becoming homeless and working families who can not afford to feed their children owing to delays in receiving Universal Credit payments.

We are also helping disabled and sick people to apply for PIP's and challenge the many refusals that are being received.

Humanity Torbay are absolutely thrilled to announce, due to all of your very generous donations; that we are doing the following:
We have bought huge amounts of toys for the nine year old girl and her family and for lots of other children who would be missing out on presents at Christmas in Torbay this year.

We will be providing Christmas for our 9 year old girl's family, providing the whole of Christmas, including food, new clothing and holiday.

Additionally, your donations has enabled us to improve our building security and make sure that we can run for the next two years, continuing the invaluable support services for all vulnerable people. It will also be the first time ever in the country, that all of the homeless in Torquay will be taken off the streets and put into a hotel on Christmas eve and Christmas night, provided with a paid for dinner and all food and accommodation of these two nights. We have also paid for deposits for people to get them into accommodation, otherwise homeless.. We are paying for 80 Christmas food hampers, for families who are struggling on Universal Credit. We have also bought various items of school uniform and children's shoes for impoverished families.

We would like to thank you all once again, as without all of your generous donations, these actions would not have been possible and the potential future development and running of the "Small Charity with a big Heart."
