My name is Nigel and I am writing this appeal on behalf of my wife, Andrea – a 56-year-old mother to our four children and the eldest of 5 siblings.
Andrea is a vocal trainer and motivational speaker whose positive approach has been inspirational to so many. She is vibrant, she is full of the joy of life and she is a faithful woman of God.
9 years ago, Andrea was diagnosed with cancer of the right breast. She underwent a mastectomy and an extensive naturopath course of treatment which was 100% successful. In September 2016, 2 months after losing her younger sister to breast cancer, she was diagnosed with a different type of cancer in the left breast.
She embarked on a strict routine which significantly reduced the tumour. However, following a number of further stressful events, Andrea started having increased pain and a marked change in the presentation of the tumour. The update on the 29th January 2018 was that the tumour has now connected to her chest wall and her left arm is extensively swollen due to lymph node damage.
The doctors have advised that they are not confident that a second mastectomy at this stage will remove all the tumour and have recommended chemotherapy. Research has shown that chemotherapy unfortunately only aids 2% of cancer patients and in some of those cases, when the cancer returns, it does so quite aggressively – as was the case with her sister, Annette and other close family and friends.
We were preparing for Andrea to travel to Mexico to pursue potentially life-saving treatment offered by the Gerson Oncology Treatment Centre. However, we recently received the disappointing news that Andrea is unable to take a longhaul flight and will therefore need to have the treatment done in the UK. She is currently undergoing a residential treatment programme with naturapath Derin Bepo of www.healthrestore.net and has shown a marked improvement in her breathing and overall wellbeing in the passed 4 days.
