Savanah overturf 2017 miss amazing
Hello, my name is Savanah Overturf. I was recently given the honor of being crowned colorado miss amazing 2017, and represent colorado. so excited but, unsure how I can make this dream a reality. I have been given an opportunity to go to nationals in Chicago in August 2017. I can still hardly imagine this is real. I would love to give you all some background on me, and who I am. I have autism, epilepsy, schizophrenia and tourettes syndrome, but that by now means defines me. I am a girl with big dreams. I want to one day become a teacher, and inspire others, reach there dreams. I have had many ups and downs in my life. I was harshly bullied in school due to my diffrent needs. Through all of it I pushed through. That is the type of girl I am. I feel by being miss amazing I can show others that they can shine through. Show the would what a uniquely abled woman is capable of. Now, nationals I will be raising money for the cost. I live in a completely disabeled household, and have a very limited income. We will raise money for registration fee for me. We also need tickets for my mother, and father, so they can see me. They are both so proud. It makes me feel incredible. We will also be driving from colorado to Chicago, because I have a service dog for my seziures, and feel that would be easier, also with my autism I am not a fan of heights. So a plane is a fairly scary idea. We will also need food for our travel and stay. If you are in a position to help me make it to nationals, I know I can make a difference in many other lives in the future, and send my infectious smile to many hearts across America.
