Sarah Marquez's Bump In The Road

Who we are: Everyone who has ever enjoyed a laugh, been scolded by and then recieved advice, shared a drink, road tripped with, or merely had the pleasure to meet Sarah Marquez.
What are we raising funds for?
It's simple, Sarah broke her brace. It will take about 3 weeks after her casting for a brand new custom brace to arrive. In the meantime, this puts severe restrictions on her mobility in her everyday pursuits. I.E work, errands, chores & recreation.
In order for her to continue the good work she does for us and the community she serves, she needs the financial backing to get through this bump in the road.
How will the funds be used?
1) Sarah needs a mobility wheel chair in order to use public transportation safely in her interm commute to work. This cost is roughly $1,500 out of pocket (Custom fittings, etc...). This chair will be purchased, not rented, so it will be extremely useful for any future needs.
2) Additional personal assistant time will be invaluable during this short 3 week wait time for numerous reasons. 4 hours a day would be ideal and rates range from approximately $15-$20 per hour. That is about $500 a week, with three weeks adding up to $1,500.
How soon does she need the help?
Honestly... Yesterday. This week is going to be tough. If we are able to meet our goal by Friday, August 12th, 2016 we will be just in time.
