My mother, Sandra Lynn Black, recently passed away. Our family is devastated at her passing. She was on her way to a routine dialysis visit when she had to be hospitalized instead. She was expected to come home however had to be transferred to the ICU for drop in blood pressure. She ended up departing on January 10, 2019, at Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA.
She had several chronic and severe medical conditions, including multiple sclerosis, end-stage kidney disease, and heart failure. All of which caused significant financial burden in medical expenses for my father, Robert Black, who is retired, and our family.
Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.
We are planning a simple funeral and burial which is what my mother would have wanted. However, we are having significant financial strain due to the costs.
