Samson's Daughter Café in Brampton

Donation protected
Our mission is to improve Brampton by incorporating an improved café culture. By introducing Samson's Daughter to Downtown Brampton, local residents will benefit from having a new café and brunch restaurant with high-quality food and coffee and a visually stunning design.

The idea for Samson's Daughter originated from visits to European cafés and cafés in Downtown Toronto. Brampton will finally have a cozy and welcoming space for students, young professionals and families. Samson's Daughter will be a place to study, work, socialize or have meetings but will also serve innovative and wholesome brunch and lunch items, including vegetarian and healthy options. We hope to create a relaxing and calm space where everyone can relieve their daily stresses and enjoy freshly brewed gourmet coffee and tea as well as a variety of pastries and desserts.

Additionally, we will host workshops and networking events for young professionals and students, as means to encourage creativity, learning, and individual and professional growth within our community. These workshops and events may include photography workshops, entrepreneurial networking events, business-related discussions, art showcase events, etc.

Our goal is to reach $5,000 in donations. With your donations we will be able to obtain the purchase furniture and equipment for the café.

Should we not reach our goal, we will continue to pursue this project through institutional financing or venture capital financing in addition to the funds received through this campaign. But, we trust that we will reach our goal and then some!

Finally, there will be a brunch spot and café to visit after the Brampton Farmer's Market, after a skate at Gage Park or even before you catch your bus or train at the Brampton GO Station.

Why the name Samson's Daughter?

The café will be owned and operated by Sanah Ahsan, the youngest daughter out of three of the late Samson Ahsan, who had tragically passed away when she was very young of age. Samson was a warm and welcoming soul, friendly to everyone in the community and a true entertainer and generous host. This is what the café will be. A warm and welcoming space with good vibes and the best food, just like Samson's home. Let our café be like your second home!

Please help us to get this business off the ground and share with your friends and family! Follow @samsonsdaughter on Instagram for updates and use our hashtag #SamsonsDaughter when sharing.

All of your donations will go directly to funding this café and ultimately, giving back to our Brampton community. Your donations and efforts are sincerely appreciated and we can't wait to see you!
