Medical Mission for Syrian Refugees
Donation protected
Hello AMAZING human beings,
Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) has graciously provided us students with the opportunity to travel and help Syrian Refugees in Jordan. We will be working to help our brothers and sisters who lack proper medical attention and care.
Thousands of people are living in tents and makeshift shelters and as the weather worsens the need for medication and medical procedures is only going to increase.
By the end of December, we want to continue the work done by many in taking vital supplies to those living in refugee camps. People need medical supplies such as bandages, antibiotics and all sorts of medication.
We need $11,000 in order to supply the refugees in need. All of the money that is collected will ONLY be used to provide adequate medication for the refugees.
The volunteers come from multiple specialties including cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, physical therapy, dentistry, as well as (ourselves) college students. This amazing team of volunteers will help provide countless amounts of Syrian refugees with free medical assistance.
The mission is planned for the 2nd till the 7th of January so any donations, as soon as possible, would be gratefully received.
Thank you so much!
Jad Atassi, Omar Alzein, Yasser Alsilwadi, Tarek Jaber, Omar Martini, Yahia Rashed, and Sami Shabeeb
