Help Sameer and family

Hello and Namaste to everyone. We'd like to introduce you to a special young man, 19 year old Sameer Gurung, also called Babu (little one) by his dear ones.

Sameer moved to the States in 2012 along with his older twin sisters, who raised him after his mother passed away when he was 10, to live with his father.
Here, he met the love of his life, Kalpana, in high school and married her. Together, they have a 7 month old baby boy, Saurav, who was born premature and was only recently discharged from the hospital.
Finally, life had been going well for the young father who was trying his best to live his American dream. He was determined to work hard so he could provide a decent life for his family, working as a delivery driver at a restaurant by day and a pizzeria by night. Although life might have been hard, he was a devoted husband and a loving father. A talented guitarist and all-genre music lover who dreamt of one day opening his own music studio, he also loved playing the guitar at social gatherings and the church services he attended.
However, things took a drastic turn for this smiley young man.
On Friday, 2 Dec 2016, at around 11.00 PM, Sameer’s car was T-boned by a distracted driver at an intersection while returning from his last delivery. The damage done to his car was so devastating that the fire-fighters had to cut open the top of his car in order to extricate him. He was rushed to John Hopkins Hospital where he underwent multiple major surgeries. In addition to a completely crushed pelvis, dissected aorta and a splenectomy, he also sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Sameer is currently in a coma in ICU where his family and friends have been praying for his health constantly.

It is hard enough for a family to go through the emotional pain and heartache of seeing their loved one in such a condition, without having to worry and wade through the financial turmoil.
This gofundme account has been set up by Sameer’s friends, in the hopes of alleviating the financial toil this tragic accident has taken on his family. The funds raised will go directly to his medical bills for his stay in the ICU and eventually at a long-term rehab facility. A portion of it will also be used to sustain Sameer’s wife and son. No amount is too big or too small especially when it comes with love and prayers for our Babu. Please help.
