Salty Sailor Co. Store Front!

Hey guys! It's Me, T!
So as most of you know upon my grand re-arrival back home  2 years ago, I've been doing some Woodworking and custom making things for everyone. I'm pretty much the South Jersey Etsy :)

What you don't know is how it all started and why.

My mother was diagnosed with Brain Cancer around the time I was born. She's fought chemo, brain surgeries, strokes and seizures. She always told me to be kind to everyone- Travel often- and live this beautiful life we are given, for everyday is a gift. She never seemed jaded and always found ways to smile. I got the phone call I've dreaded all my life. T, it’s time to move home. Your Mom may not make it much longer.

So I moved home and into the tiny cottage in Avalon Manor with my best friend Lisa. The room was tiny with no closet, but I moved with nothing but what could fit in my car so it was ok. Bed-less, I drew up some plans and I build a storage bed. Simple enough right? Well after building that and posting a picture on social media I got asked by 5 people if I could make them one. Then it continued with everything I began to build to decorate my new home. and TADA! Salty Sailor Co. the Woodworking biz was born. I began to set up shop in a 5x5 space in the garage and the orders started flowing in...and haven't stopped.

My mother finally found peace and left us last June.  The reason I'm sharing this is because if I never moved home, I would 100% not be doing what I am doing. And what I'm doing is something I adore and for that I am forever grateful.

I've been given a unique situation to open a store front in Sea Isle City this summer. This has been a dream of mine and it looks like with all the hope and fingers crossed it is becoming a reality.

I wanted to set up a GoFundMe me over a Kickstarter because of the rules that apply to hitting goals. If anyone would so kindly like to contribute to help get the biz off the ground there will never be enough thank you's in the world.

No amount is too small and all is very much appreciated.

Any donation of $25 or more will receive a handmade-by me :) wooden sign with the word Thankful on it.

$100 or more you will get an 8x10 self portrait in the store on the wall of founders next to one of Me, and Bill Murray.

Be the Change,
xoxo
