This project and dream is in memory of my twin brother Michael C. Ross who thrived with Cystic Fibrosis despite every challenge imaginable.
To Michael—
You changed the world around you with your optimism, perserverance and kindness. You believed that Cystic Fibrosis wouldn't hold you back and when it did there was always something wonderful about the day. We kept dreaming together right to the end. I hope I can live out our dreams and share your passion and spirit with everyone I meet.
The Campaign
I dream to become the first sailor with Cystic Fibrosis to circumnavigate the globe. I see this as a charitable mission—a mission to inspire, motivate, raise awareness, engage and open a dialogue about the ability of all those fighting this disease.
I firmly believe that we can create a platform for dreaming that anything is possible with CF today and we can bring others along too. On and off the water it's a personal story about those I sail with, those that support me, those that we help, those that hear me speak and those that read the story we weave.

Timeline
Summer 2016- Oakcliff to train, engage, sail support youth sailing locally in my hometown. Races will include, Block Island Race, Newport to Bermuda Race and Ida Lewis Race
Summer 2017-land a perminent sponsor(!?), sailing campaign, youth sailing at home, youth/adult sailing day trips on the ocean, racing Marblehead to Halifax, Bermuda 1-2 Race
Why Pledge Your Support?
All donations help send me to Oakcliff to cover tuition, room and board, necessary gear and travel expenses. It also kicks off my broader mission. Oakcliff is vital for training, experience, my knowledge base and connecting in the racing world. Through our successes we can truly make a difference and put this project on a sound footing!
No donation is too small because it's a belief in me and our dream. I want to bring awareness to Cystic Fibrosis it's challenges, successes/struggles and make a difference!
With Michael by my side and his story of happiness and care for others we can do this! We can show that today, living with CF can be healthy, active, fun and inspirational!
