Luna's Medical Fund

***UPDATE: It is with the most profound sorrow, that I must let you all know that Luna left this life and the loving arms of her family. She is still connected to life support while arrangements are being made to donate her organs to waiting infants. In addition to lost wages and medical expenses, Haley and Gaetan will now be met funeral expenses while they grieve. Your donations will so greatly ease part of the stress that is crushing them right now and I can't express enough how grateful their entire family is for the outpouring of support for such young and devastated parents. On Thursday, February 16th my granddaughter, Luna Champagne, a bubbly, beautiful, 3-month-old girl was put down for a nap and suddenly stopped breathing. Her dad Gaetan came in to check on her only to find his baby girl blue and limp. He and my daughter, Luna's mom rushed her to the hospital where she was immediately helivac'd to Boston Children's Hospital. She is still unconscious and it is believed she sustained significant injury to her brain.

Her parents are by her side night and day, but the cost both in medical expenses and lost wages will be substantial for two such young parents as we wait for a more decisive diagnosis and treatment.

This is horribly tragic event that no one should have to endure. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
