KANES RECOVERY

I just got Kane to the vet and it's not looking good... He was struck by a truck Friday evening December 22nd 2017. Thanks to all the shares and support, we was able to find him Sunday, December 24th. Although, his back left leg is severely damaged. He has muscle and tissue damage and his pelvic bone is offset with his spine. Worries are that if we amputate, he's not going to heal correctly without resetting the pelvic bone. If we don't amputate, we won't need to reset the pelvic bone, but the large wound will need to be surgically repaired. I'm hoping we don't have to amputate, but if we do then we need to reset the pelvic bone. It is very VERY expensive, and we do not have thousands of dollars at this time. I do not want to ask for money, but I have no other option. Surgery to fix his leg and not amputate will be roughly 4,000 dollars. If surgery isn't an option, and amputation is the only route, that's anywhere from 4,000 dollars to 6,000 dollars. I hate that I have to do this, but Kane is seriously one of our kids. Anyone that has family pets, knows how important they are. We can not just give up on Kane and we won't. He is a very important pet to us and he has a very loving family. Hell I'll work for the money if someone would let me. I just want him better. If we amputate, his pelvic needs to be reset. If we don't, his pelvic is okay to not be reset. Only because with one leg it would cause further damage to the pelvic. With both legs he the pelvic would be balanced. His leg is actually not broke. It's just a severe cut, and has extensive muscle and tissue damage. We're not sure that if we try caring to the wound itself, it it will actually heal. Regardless, either route we go, we're looking at a total of 8,000. I have the paperwork and bill to show that, that is in fact what the money will go towards. Anything is very helpful and we want to keep Kane alive. At this point, we can't afford the medical expenses and euthanizing him looking like our only affordable option.. please anything will help! I don't expect to get all of it, but anything helps.. Kane hasn't fought this long for 2 days straight to stay alive, I'll do anything to keep him in good health.
