Hi everyone, it's Danielle! I am creating this campaign to help out my mother, Diana, who has recently been diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
For those of you who may not know her, my mother is an amazing person. She is the type of woman that is full of life and personality. She has a heart of gold and is self-less. Without hesitation she takes action to help out anyone in need and ensures that those around her are happy, safe and comfortable. She is constantly giving back to the community by being involved in many charities such as Sprint For Life and Toys for Tots, and has opened up her home multiple times to those in need.
My mother beat breast cancer 14 years ago and is ready to beat cancer again. Her determination and strength are nothing but admirable. As many of her friends and family have said, if anyone can beat this it's Diana!
Why GoFundMe?
This year my mom started a new chapter in her life. She just moved into a new house that she was excited to fix up and call home, and she became the primary care giver for her own mother who has alzheimer's and dementia. Due to this sudden and unfortunate illness my mom had to step away from work to focus on her health. We are keeping faith as we move forward with multiple types of treatments (medical and holistic), however, the bills can be quite daunting. My hope and goal is to help relieve some of that stress from my mom.
Asking for help is something Diana does not like to do. She prefers to give to others than to take for herself. She most likely will not be happy that I made this for her BUT she will get over it eventually :)
