$111,469 of $100,000 goal
At a moment like this, silence seems to be the only expression that fits. What can we, as mere men, say to a grieving and shattered heart? We speak today because we have a living hope. Death is no respecter of persons. Death is no respecter of youth. Death is a painful intruder and a pernicious reminder of our human condition. But I stand before you today to declare that we have a living hope and that causes us to rejoice greatly. You see, our hope today is found in the fact that Jesus is no longer entombed. He lives. And because He lives, Drew lives. Because He lives, the grieving broken heart has hope, and reason to rejoice. I've heard about the story of Drew, I'm so sorry and there aren't any words that could express the pain that this family is going through. My family and I see people go through this everyday and I can't imagine how they must feel. You see our family owns a funeral home in Norcross and in Buford, and we are heart broken to hear of this tragedy, but know that God has a plan. Please know that our services are offered in helping in anyway we can. In Christ, Sam
To whomever is in charge if this page: Continue upping the financial goal. Time off work, meals, housing for out of town family, and airfare will add up far faster than you think, and long-term medical costs are unpredictable. I know this firsthand. Prayers.
Words offer so little comfort against the crumbling of your broken heart, but just know your pain radiates throughout the entire community. Strangers and friends alike are shedding tears over the loss of your sweet son. Prayers are coming fast and furiously for the speedy and full recovery of your husband and oldest son. From a mother to a mother, my heart weeps too. May God lay His hand on you today and always.
Praying for you all. Remember lean not to your understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path! He will guide you through the journey ahead. God loves you and so do we!!
I came across your situation through a "like" on FB. From there, I went to the main page and spent the next hour reading and crying. While I don't know you, I am a mom and my heart aches for what your family is going through. I am happy to help with a donation and I pray that each day proves to be better than the last for all of you. Merry Christmas and may God watch over you and protect you.
All the best to this family
Our prayers are with your family.
