We are Tampa’s very own Tampa Bay Pride Band and Tampa Bay Symphony Winds. We are a local Non-Profit Community Band located in Tampa, Florida. The group is made up of men and women of all ages that celebrate diversity through music.
Our amazing group of musicians was founded in 2014. We started out with less than 20 musicians and had our first performance for Tampa Pride 2015. With hard work and dedication our group was able to put on an awesome performance. Before you know it we were asked to perform all around the area. You may have seen us in pride events around Florida, concerts at the Metropolitan Community Church in Tampa, and different events for City of Tampa. We have now grown to 50 plus members and our new home is at Middleton High School! We are very excited to have a full ensemble that allows anyone at any age to join no matter their music level.
With any growing Non Profit come more opportunities to do bigger and better things. We are reaching out to our community and beyond to raise $50,000 to purchase new instruments, sheet music, future programs, and more. With your help we will be able to take our group to the next level with higher level literature, more community events, and working with the youth in Tampa. This will mean so much to our growing group. We thoroughly enjoy being a part of the community and celebrating diversity through music.
Our next event will take place 7:30pm December 12th, 2016 at Middleton High School Auditorium located at 4801 N. 22nd Street Tampa, FL 33610. We will be putting on our annual Christmas Concert. There you will hear all your favorite Christmas Classics with your family and friends. So please come on out as we celebrate the holidays.
