Hello good people!
This is Brian and Alison's Recovery Fire Fund. This past Saturday, April 11th, around midnight, our apartment building caught on fire. Fortunately, no one in the building was harmed. However, most of our possessions are heavily damaged by smoke. These posessions include our bed, our clothes, a fridge full of food, our couch, and some of our tech appliances.
Unfortunately, we neglected to buy renters insurance during the first month that we had been fully moved in. Consequently, much of what we have lost is coming out of pocket. Let us be an example for those who rent and overlook the importance of renters insurance. We were only there for two months so this could happen to you!
So please help us get back on our feet! Any little bit counts and is greatly appreciated. This fund will help us move into a newer, safer apartment together and start new...again.
