Ryder's Bday Toy Drive for St. Jude

Last Fall, I asked Ryder what he wanted to do for his 11th birthday. Without hesitation, he said that he would like to buy toys for kids with cancer. It instantly made me cry! After being a regular volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and seeing the families who stay there, he said that it would be nice to see kids receive something that could keep their mind off of their everyday life in the hospital. He's been working odd and end jobs around the neighborhood, being VERY dedicated to earning the money. Although he is earning the money, I would love to surprise him for his bday with an outpouring of community support to show him how fantastic it really is to care for others. We will fly to Memphis June 29th to deliver the toys and Southwest Airlines has agreed to waive any additional baggage fees! 

Thank you so much for loving my baby boy and helping him give the children of St. Jude a little sunshine to their day :)
