Two months after his 13th birthday our Ryano is seriously ill. From running around a football field on the Tuesday to being in ICU in an induced coma by the Saturday with meningitis.
Ryan has represented his state in the Queensland Track and Field team for the last three years, and broken Australian records every year. He captained last year’s 150-strong Queensland team. In 2017 he participated in the School Pacific Games in Adelaide and broke three games records. He also represented the State of Queensland for swimming. He is also a talented rugby union player for the Sunshine Coast-based Maleny Bushrangers.
Being the fighter that he is, he has regained the ability to say a few words and will need to learn to walk again. Please donate what you are able to towards Ryan’s recovery which will be a long and expensive road ahead. Every bit helps!
