Help Bishop Get A New Laptop!

My name is Frank. I'm part of a community of gamers dedicated to fighting games. While our community is known for a lot of the excitement and passion shown at our tournaments, we see ourselves shining for one very different reason: We take care of our own. For the better part of two years we've been helping our friend Bishop Wagner through his hard fought battle with colon cancer. As a community we've been able to help him with some of the medical bills and day to day expenses.
The laptop meant a couple of things for Bishop. It was his way to connect with us online, it let him have some entertainment on some of the days he couldn't get out of bed and it was his work. When things went to hell for our friend, he didn't want to ask us as a community to help him. Instead he wanted us to help him raise funds so he could do a fundraiser for others with cancer. This is the kind of person we want you to help us with: one that didn't ask for help for his situation, he asked for help in assisting others when he was the one who needed it the most.
The money would go entirely to help him replace the laptop. The sooner we can get him the money, the sooner he can get back to work on fundraising for others and hopefully for himself. He would also be able to keep better connected with the community at large. Our updates from him have gotten somewhat sporadic and the lack of computer plays a very big part in that. In many ways this new laptop would bring him back to in a stronger way to the community since his avenues of community would increase.
While a handful of us have pooled some resources together, we would really appreciate any help towards getting us to the finish line. Its been a long and draining battle with cancer and this accident was a proverbial kick in the teeth in the middle of it all. Helping us get our friend back into a more involved member all the while allowing him to continue doing the work he was before his laptop met its unfortunate end.
