Hillary's Medical Fund

On Tuesday, June 20th 2017 our good friend Hillary Moses had a bad rotational fall cross country schooling. She was rushed to Christiana Hospital where she was diagnosed with a collapsed lung and several lacerations on her spleen. These are in addition to the usual battering that any one of us take when we fall from our horse.
As you know, Hillary is the last one to ask for help but the first to offer it. As an equine professional Hillary is always kind, compassionate and generous with her time. While fiercely competitive she is always a team player. Always willing to help with a smile on her face, never asking for anything in return. Her participation in Pony Club and the little kindnesses she shows young riders encourages them to be good horsemen while promoting the future of our sport.
In her personal life Hillary participates in the annual Mud Run for M.S. by running and fundraising. Hillary is also a very active CrossFit member.
If you know Hillary, you know she is reticent to be the center of attention. You know she is a giver not a taker. As soon as she is able she will be teaching again although it will be months before she is fully recovered and her medical bills will be great. While she has insurance, her medical expenses will greatly exceed her coverage. In addition, her loss of income will also affect her regular living expenses. When released from the hospital she will be staying with a Physician friend so she will not be without supervision and help.
It will be very hard for her to accept this help from us, but we know she will need everything we can do for her. Please be as generous as Hillary would be to you.
