The Rhodes Family

On Sunday, April 23, the unthinkable happened to one of our Morgan County families. Tracy Rhodes , Adam Rhodes, Michael Rhodes, and Brittany Smith (Michael's girlfriend) were involved in a horrible car accident that took the life of Michael (18) and Brittany (19). Tracey (the mother) is currently fighting for her life in an Intensive Care Unit in an Athens hospital.
Michael was one of a kind. He ALWAYS put others first, and was one of the most unselfish young adults we have ever had the privilege of teaching and coaching. Michael was a team captain and 4 year letterman for the MCHS Wrestling team. He was also a 4 year letterman in football as an offensive lineman and long-snapper. Michael also served as a leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Mike (the father) will soon have many bills to pay, and we must rally around this family in any way we can.
This family has supported Morgan Co. athletics whole heartedly for many years, and now it's our turn to support them.
