Every business with an employee and customers needs an Employers' Liability Insurance policy, this is quite cheap, you don't need business insurance and many businesses don't have it as it's pricy, there you go ashlee you learnt something....possibly

Why did she not have insurance? What happens if anyone could have got hurt in the place I thought every business should have had insurance. I was doing a fundraiser for the neonatal unit Belfast and had messaged two staff asking about a donation of anything small for a raffle- and was pig ignorant and didn't reply even tho the message was seen! Fair enough maybe wasn't able to donate but a reply would have been nice!

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/race-attack-salon-owner-asta-dream-wedding-in-ruins-along-with-my-salon-31144036.html Read the story! It states their wedding money was lost and that there was no insurance. Hence why people are raising money-- to help get the business back up and running and to help towards their wedding

Im so glad to see the money rising up & up, this in itself will show the culprits who is the majority, I said yesterday that I hoped the amount would double what was originally put up & Im so glad its nearly there TRIPLE IT & more. Amazing to watch on her Facebook page all the support and the announcment that Asta & her staff WILL be back open for business next week, probably due to everyones donations which is brilliant! What is sad is that there are people questioning things, this poor girls circumstances, the staff who work there & insurance. Surely to god if this were to happen to YOU, you wouldnt want the community and world at large to kick you when your down. As little as a fiver isnt going to kill your pocket, thats the price of a coffe & bun while you enjoy how you can go about your daily business without fear of attack! Good on everyone for standin together with Asta! #supportasta

For those few questioning about the money. Look at it as unofficial compensation for the calculated actions of mindless bigots. Brilliant response, good luck Asta!!

Is there an article (or a link to one) about what happened or is this just to ask people to donate? While I despise racists (and all other bigots) and all their actions...not sure I want to donate to someone's business without knowing about their business practices (policy on minimum or living wage, use of zero hours contracts, insurance, tax, etc, etc) ....don't jump on me...just saying, like.
