CAbrillo Robotics

We are the Rusty Sailors, a FIRST Lego League robotics team, made up of 6th-8th-grade boys and girls from Cabrillo Middle School in Ventura, CA.
We recently competed in the Los Angeles Regional FIRST Lego League 2017 Championships. We competed just five days after the Thomas Fire erupted in our City. Many of our teammates' families were personally affected.
We won the opportunity to compete at the FIRST Lego League International Razorback Invitational at the University of Arkansas in May 2018. We were also nominated and selected as a finalist for the Global Innovation Award (the first team from Los Angeles or Ventura Counties to ever go to this prestigious event) and we will be presenting our innovative solution to technology leaders from the Silicon Valley in June 2018.
We are asking for donations to assist us with the cost of team travel, lodging, registration fees and parts for our robot and innovation project. Any additional funds will go directly back to the Cabrillo Robotics Club.
