Rusty's Celtic Harp Dream

Dia duit! My name is Rusty and I am asking for financial help to realize my dream of playing Irish trad on the Celtic harp. Topping that dream would be to sing along in Irish, but first thing's first!
I have been playing for a year and a half now and hiring my instructor's instrument, so it is time I invest in my own. I much prefer to buy an Irish made harp, and the master harps craftsmen Tim O'Carroll of Killarney Harps is highly recommended by my instructor and other Galway harpists. I have made the the down payment of 600€ and the instrument should be completed by the end of July 2017. The balance of 3300€ will be due upon collection and I will need to hire a car to pick it up, so I am budgeting 100€ for the trip to Killarney.
I was a percussionist in gradeschool band, and a hobbiest drummer of all genres througout secondary school so I have rhythm (well, I hope ;-). I have not formally studied music theory so picking up the harp has been a vertical learning curve. Still I am always up for a great challenge and I find myself improving and growing more confident with my playing on a daily basis.
I have a goal of holding a Christmas recital at my office this year, and having my own instrument long before then would be a great boost to my confidence and sound. As well, I really need to return my instructor's harp at long last!
gofundme does not have a reward scheme like other crowd funding, though I am a knitter and for anyone who donates over 500€ (or US$, not to worry about constant currency ;-) I will be honored to make a set of all three gloves, hat, & scarf, a jumper, or other suitable piece we find together on ravelry.com, etc.
