Russell Bramell CSI Team

On May 6th, 2017 Russell Bramell, a key employee with CSI Saddlepads was t-boned by a running deer while riding his motorcycle. Fortunately he was protected by his helmet and leathers, however, the impact shattered his leg right below the knee. Due to the uncertainty of his injuries, he was life flighted rto a level 1 Trauma Center in Kansas City, MO. After being stabilized at research medical center his lower leg was surgically repaired with pins and plates. He was able to be discharged on the following Wednesday but will be confined to crutches for several months.

Unfortunately Russel's insurance will only cover a very small amount of his medical bills.  We are reaching out to try and help. His estimated medical bills will be $250,000. Russell is CSI's go to guy. Not only is he CSI's saftey officer but he over sees machine and building maintenance. Hes an intricate part of the daily operation of building saddle pads. Some of you may have even had the opportunity to meet him at the spring horse expo's! He will be heavily missed while he's gone.

Russell is the type of person thats full of life. When time allows he loves to ride motorcycles as well as horses. Although he is a retired bull rider we are hopeful he will be able to return as a long term CSI employee. He is always willing to help others. In his community he is a volunteer fire fighter and EMT. Five years ago when his family's house accidently caught on fire, he was among the first ones in to fight the fire. Being a first responder is so ingrained that as soon as he stopped rolling down the highway he called 911 to request his own ambulance. Of all of the things Russell helps to do, his number one priority is spending time with his children, Harley and Avery and he cant wait to take them fishing again!
