Running Out of Darkness

Donation protected
I am training for my 1st ever marathon. My goal is to finish it, but more importantly, glorify God with my training and race! You can donate a dollar or more for every mile. I hope to use my marathon as a vehicle to raise money for a very worthy cause: rescuing victims of sex trafficking - where the average girl recruited is 11-14 years old, the same age as my children.

Solid Rock Student Ministries - the youth group at my church for which I'm one of the leaders - has committed to raise $25,000 this year to buy a new van for a ministry called OUT OF DARKNESS, an anti-trafficking ministry of the Atlanta Dream Center.

They desperately need a new vehicle to transport teams in Atlanta, one of the worst cities in the nation for prostitution. Volunteers with "Out of Darkness" deliver roses to prostitutes in Georgia's capitol, telling them God loves them and giving them a way out. The goal is to reach, restore, and rescue them! Learn more at www.outofdarkness.org.

I run, in hopes that more sex trafficking victims don't have to anymore. My marathon is on April 30, 2016. That's 26.2 miles. My goal is to raise at least $100 per mile of that race! If you choose to give $1 of that, it would be a $27 donation. Or $5 per mile of my marathon is $131.

Imagine if it was your daughter. This is such an important endeavor, getting precious children of God off the streets. Please strongly consider this. Thank you for your generosity! And tell others about this campaign.
