(It/Eng) In Agosto 2018 6 maratoneti prenderanno parte alla ForRangers Ultra Marathon, una competizione di 230 km in 5 giorni organizzata da www.beyondtheultimate.co.uk. Questo evento è stato creato al fine di raccogliere fondi per Save The Rhino International e www.forrangers.com . For Rangers è un’incredibile iniziativa che ha avuto inizio in Kenya per raccogliere fondi per i Rangers e così aiutare i progetti di conservazione degli animali in pericolo di estinzione e del loro habitat naturale. I Rangers sono gli uomini e le donne in prima linea in questa guerra contro il bracconaggio in Africa. For Rangers si prodiga di acquistare per loro equipaggiamento come GPS, radio, torce e tende , dando così la possibilità ai Rangers di poter rimanere fuori dai campi per diversi giorni sorvegliando le vaste aree poste sotto la loro tutela. Vengono inoltre acquistati vestiti e scarpe idonee, e nel caso (purtroppo non raro) un Ranger rimanga ucciso, viene dato un supporto finanziario alla loro famiglia ed istituito un fondo per permettere ai loro figli di completare gli studi.
Questi uomini e queste donne sono i nostri “guerrieri silenziosi”, i veri Eroi nella lotta al bracconaggio, persone senza le quali la protezione di specie in via di estinzione come rinoceronti ed elefanti, non sarebbe possibile.
RUNNING FOR RANGERS ITALIA prender parte a questa iniziativa al fine di raccogliere più donazioni possibili per queste organizzazioni senza scopo di lucro. Nelle settimane che precedono quest’evento grandioso, i ragazzi del nostro Team prenderanno parte a numerose competizioni dove sensibilizzeranno il pubblico sull’importanza dell’antibracconaggio e sul ruolo dei Rangers in questa missione.
OGNI DONAZIONE, PICCOLA O PIÙ GRAND, SARÀ MOLTO APPREZZATA E SARÀ ESTREMAMENTE IMPORTANTE PER MIGLIORARE LA VITA È LE CONDIZIONI LAVORATIVE DI QUESTI GUERRIERI SILENZIOSI.

In August 2018 6 Runners from Italy will be taking part in the Forrangers Ultra Marathon, a 230km 5 day event organised by www.beyondtheultimate.co.uk. The event has been created to raise funds for Save the Rhino International and www.forrangers.com. For Rangers is an incredible conservation initiative which began in Kenya to raise money for Rangers. These are the men and women on the front line in the fight against poaching in Africa, and protection of Endangered species and their natural habitat. For Rangers buys equipment such as GPS, Radios, Torches and tents which allow the Rangers to spend time out patrolling the vast areas under their care. Clothings and boots are also provided, and in the very real event that a Ranger is killed in the line of duty, money is given to the family and a fund set up to help educate the Rangers children. These men and women are the silent conservationists, who are rarely mentioned, but are the true Heros of conservation, without which the protection of endangered species such as Rhino and Elephant would not be possible.
Running for Rangers Italia is taking part in this event to raise as much money as possible for these charities, we will be taking part in several events in Italy prior to the Forrangers Ultra in August where we will be raising awareness and bringing to the attention the role of Rangers in wildlife conservation. Every Donation large or small will be greatly appreciated and will go along way to improve the lives and working conditions of these silent warriors,
