Run for West Cork Rapid Response

Donation protected
Hey guys, on the 26th and 27th of May I will be taking part in both the 10k and half marathon run in Edinburgh to raise money for West Cork Rapid Response. This will be the longest distance I have ran and I’ve chosen to raise the money in this way so I am forced to push myself! This is a charity which is extremely close to my heart and one which I feel deserves an endless amount of funds. West Cork Rapid Response is an entirely voluntary group working in partnership with and supporting the existing HSE national ambulance service. Absolutely nobody within the organisation is paid and their professional time is entirely voluntary. Last year my (not so little) brother fell extremely ill while at home. Once the paramedics arrived they were very concerned and unsure what the outcome would be so they called the west cork rapid response. Dr Jason Van Der Velde arrived soon later and I have no doubt that had this service not been in place we may well have lost our Liam that night. This service is one which is often unheard of until you are in a situation similar to ours last year. Dr Jason and the west cork rapid response is the reason we still have my brother and is essentially the difference between life and death. Please give anything you can to support this extremely worthy cause and give back to something which can in turn continue to provide this crucial service.Thank you for your time and donation.
