Con el más grande dolor, lamentamos tener que compartir con ustedes, la triste noticia que nuestro ser querido Rubicelia Martínez de Negrete, esta luchando durante ya ocho meses contra la Leucemia en City of Hope, donde ha recibido la mejor atención médica. Todo estaba preparado para recibir un trasplante de médula, su hijo Tony se lo iba a donar, cuando las esperanzas de ganarle al cáncer se desvanecieron al complicarse el cuadro médico de Rubicelia, ya que sufrió una doble embolia cerebral.
Hemos tenido múltiples reuniones con el excelente equipo médico del hospital City of Hope. Desafortunadamente, han concluido que el cáncer se está apoderando de su cuerpo y por haber sufrido la embolia cerebral, no prodrán continuar con el tratamiento de quimoterapias para la Leucemia. La han dado de alta y mañana viernes ya estará en su casa con su familia. La batalla más difícil está porvenir. Nos han comunicado que el tiempo no está a nuestro favor y el final está mucho más cerca de lo que hubiésemos querido.
Su esposo Antonio Negrete y sus dos hijos Antonio y Joanna Negrete, se encuentran en una situación económica muy difícil. Su esposo quien es el único proveedor de la familia, se ha mantenido a lado de Rubicelia desde su hospitalización.
Acudimos a este medio para poder prepararnos a lo peor. Pedimos que nos ayuden con una donación de lo que ustedes puedan. Así estaremos preparados cuando llegue el momento de despedir a Rubicelia Martínez como ella se lo merece.

Rubicelia is in City of Hope, where she has received the best medical attention. In fact, she was ready to receive a bone marrow transplant that Tony, her son, would be a donor. All hopes of beating cancer vanished as the medical picture of Rubicelia became more complicated as she had a double stroke.
With the great pain, we regret having to share the sad news that our beloved, Rubicelia Martinez de Negrete has been fighting Leukemia for eight months. We have had multiple meetings with the excellent medical team at City of Hope Hospital. Unfortunately, they have determined that cancer is taking over her body and she is losing the battle. With all of these complications, they will not be able to continue with her chemo treatments. She will be discharged tomorrow Friday, April 7th, 2017 to be home with her family.
Her husband Antonio Negrete, her two children Antonio and Joanna Negrete are in a very difficult financial situation. Her husband, who is the sole provider for the family, has been at Rubicelia's bedside since her hospitalization.
The most difficult battle is yet to come. We have been told that time is not in our favor and the end is much closer than we anticipated and advised us to prepare for the worst. We ask that you help us with a donation of what you can. This will help us be prepared when it is time to say goodbye to Rubicelia Martinez.
