Help save Groot
I rescued Groot(namefrom Guardians of the Galaxy movie) about 2 weeks ago. I was feeding a feral that I already had TNRd and he just came walking up to eat. I opened my window and he came walking right in.
I took him to the vet. He is only 2 years old but he is FIV positive and he may need to have all his teeth removed. He appears to be in constant pain because of his teeth. Even when he is sleeping you can hear him groaning. His is currently going through a month of antibiotics because he is anemic and his blood proteins are low. I have already put up over $300 of my own money because he is an awesome people friendly and cat friendly kitty and if we can get him through all his treatment, he could have a long healthy life ahead of him.
Most importantly, he needs a forever home asap. He is availible for adoption or foster immediately while his treatment will be continued.
