When Michael started gymnastics at age 3, all he knew was that all of the tumbling and swinging was fun. Later, Michael joined the competitive team at age 7 and he's now a senior in high school, competing as a level 10 gymnast. He now works out approximately 20 hours a week, while holding down a part time job and currently holding a 4.13 GPA with several AP classes on his courseload. Michael is dedicated to both his academics and his sport.
On April 9th, 2015, Michael had an exceptional meet at his regional competition, which combines athletes from California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. He placed 14th all- around and was one of 23 qualifiers to the Junior Olympic National Championships, the highest level of competition available to Michael and his peers at this time.

As you might imagine, attending a meet of this magnitude is costly. We have about three weeks to raise approximately $4000 to cover the cost of fees, coaching and travel for Michael and ourselves ( his parents). This is an extremely short time frame and the situation does not lend itself to traditional fundraising techniques, so we have decided to start a GoFundMe account.
Whether you can donate $5, $50 or even more, every little bit helps Michael reach his goal. Even if you can't donate at this time, we hope that you will send your positive thoughts, best wishes and prayers for a SAFE and successful meet as Michael approaches what will surely be a memory of a lifetime!
